Food Service Front of House/ Cashier

Description:

Managing transactions with customers using our Point of Sales system. Collecting payments whether in cash, debit or credit. Greet customers when entering or leaving our establishment, providing great customer service. Maintain a clean and tidy workspace, complete daily cleaning and checklists while being a good team player. No experience necessary.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival
  • Take Customers Orders
  • Attention to detail
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service
  • Good Communication with guests
  • Cash Handling & Processing Customer orders
  • Clear and clean tables between guest visits
  • Maintain knowledge of the menu and specials
  • Suggest upsells and additional items
  • Coordinate the timing of food orders between the kitchen and servers
  • Ensure that each dish meets presentation standards
  • Communicate any delays or issues with the kitchen staff

Qualifications/Requirements: 

  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with technology
  • Frequently standing at station
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Efficiently handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, making change, and processing payments
