The Shuttle Driver position at Santa’s Village provides crucial transportation services to members of the Santa’s Village Staff twice a day from Bracebridge to Barrie.
The Shuttle Driver position may also be working throughout the day as a ride operator providing a positive and enjoyable experience for guests, fostering a sense of community within the park as well as amongst staff members, and ensuring the overall success of the facility. These positions require morning, evening and weekend shifts. Both full time and part time positions are available.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a shuttle vehicle in compliance with all traffic and safety regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests & team members, assisting with loading and unloading as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized shuttle vehicle
- Communicate effectively with guests and other team members
- Assist with other duties as needed, such as crowd control and guest assistance
Qualifications:
- Valid Ontario G level driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Be able to provide a valid driver abstract
- Previous experience as a driver preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Willing and able to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Attention to detail oriented and can record information accurately
- Ability to work in a team dynamic environment
