
Description:
Set tables, take orders and serve meals to our guests and perform various incidental duties to provide satisfactory service. Interacting with customers, preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, serving snacks and drinks. Assessing our customers needs and preferences and making recommendations. Smart Serve certificate is recommended. In House training will be provided.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival
- Take Customers Orders
- Prepare and serve beverages, including alcoholic beverages
- Check identification to ensure legal drinking age
- Attention to detail
- Provide Excellent Customer Service
- Good Communication with guests
- Cash Handling & Processing Customer orders
- Clear and clean tables between guest visits
- Maintain knowledge of the menu and specials
- Suggest upsells and additional items
- Coordinate the timing of food orders between the kitchen and servers
- Ensure that each dish meets presentation standards
- Communicate any delays or issues with the kitchen staff
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Have an Ontario Smart serve certification
- Be 18+ years of age
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Frequently standing at station
